Asbestos identification or Bulk sample analysis as it is technically known is the testing of samples for the evidence of asbestos. DEMS Consultants has an in-house laboratory where we analyse samples to determine the presence and type of asbestos. We have international proficiency certification for identification of asbestos in bulk samples. In most cases DEMS can provide a verbal report within a few hours followed by a written report. For vinyl products we may have to verify our findings with X-ray diffraction. You can drop off the sample into our office. Please “double bag” the sample which needs to be no bigger than a 20 cent piece. We also provide a visitation service where we can take the sample from the location. Additional charges apply.
