HOW TO TAKE A SAMPLE
Manually break off a small piece of the material you want to test (1-3 cm in diameter) with pliers or a pair of scissors.
Place the sample into two plastic zip bags (double zip lock bags are preferred).
Ensure your bagged sample contains
- The location the sample was taken from (e.g. bathroom wall)
- The address of the property the Sample was located.
- Your phone number, name or business name and email address

If the office is unattended put your sample through the letterbox slot at the base of the front door.
We charge $99.00 incl GST for each Sample Analysis.
In the first instance we will telephone to give you a verbal result as soon as the analysis is completed. Generally, for fibre cement and most products we can provide a verbal report the same day.
Vinyl products may require more than 24 hours if x-ray diffraction analysis is required.
An Asbestos Analysis Report will then be emailed to you for your records.
Caution: Do not use power tools as this may release fibres into the air. If needed after taking the sample you can seal any exposed internal areas with hair spray or use paint (or PVA dilution) on external surfaces.
