Asbestos fibre cement is a rigid building product made from a mixture of cement reinforced with asbestos fibres, providing strength, weather resistance, and thermal stability. It was extensively used in wall cladding, eaves, soffits, fencing, roofing, and infill panels. 

Typically considered a bonded asbestos material, fibre cement presents a lower immediate risk when in good condition and properly maintained.
